Skills and Trends Report & Executive Summary

The skills and trends report aims to identify trends within gender mainstreaming in VET (Vocational and Educational Training) for the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) sector, in order to identify future skills needs for trainers in this field. The report has been produced with a view to impact current and future VET practice and respective guidelines aimed at VET stakeholders, (especially VET providers, trainers, and policy makers).

Benchmarking System Report

This report contains an overview of the results of the implementation of the Benchmarking methodology and tools: it includes 2 annexes, the benchmarking system proposed and the templates filled in by Intercollege –CY-, ITEC-GR-, Inova –UK-and Emmerce –SE-. It does also include a list of case studies identified by the project partners involved in this exercise and a final proposal of indicators after the validation of the main stakeholders identified by the project partners.
This output is a resource for VET EU centres on ICT, policy makers and evaluators on the field of gender mainstreaming in VET for the ICT sector. It does contain key information. It does provide a general overview to link a top down approach of gender mainstreaming in the IT sector in the EU with bottom up with a focus on the VET institutions that deliver training on IT.

State of Affairs Research Report

The Research Report highlights the main trends in policies, projects and networks in gender mainstreaming in VET for the ICT sector at European level (EU27+). Additionally, it gives a short statistical overview about the situation of women in ICT sector and maps the indicators for assessing gender mainstreaming in ICT sector on regional basis. Special attention has been paid to the publicly available statistical data to observe the situation of gender in ICT sector.
This output is a created as resource for policy makers and evaluators on the field of gender mainstreaming in VET for the ICT sector. Country specific data (across EU27+) about statistics, policies, projects and networks in VET for the ICT sector can be found from Research Database, which is also available on project website.
